The Project
The project involved the complete internal strip-out of the existing restaurant and bar across two floors at The Ivy Chester. The works were undertaken within a prominent city-centre hospitality setting, requiring careful planning, sequencing and site management throughout the programme.
Stredder Demolition was responsible for removing the existing internal fixtures, fittings and finishes, together with elements of the restaurant's commercial kitchen, bar structures and associated mechanical and electrical services. The scope required the controlled removal of redundant infrastructure while maintaining safe and efficient working conditions within the existing building.

Working in a City-Centre Environment
The location of the project presented additional logistical and operational considerations. Working within a busy city-centre environment required the strip-out works to be carefully planned and sequenced to maintain safe working conditions and minimise disruption.
The two floors were progressively cleared, with the removal of fixtures, fittings, kitchen elements and building services coordinated throughout the project.
Project Outcome
Following completion of the strip-out, both floors were fully cleared and taken back to shell condition. The completed works provided a clean, adaptable space ready for the next stage of refurbishment and redevelopment, while demonstrating Stredder Demolition's experience delivering restaurant and hospitality strip-outs within complex city-centre environments.
